The Chalet
From the ski room equipped with boot warmers drop down the steps to the chalet entrance which leads into a living area divided into two separate areas by a central fireplace. The chalet has 5 en-suite double bedrooms one of which is organised as a suite with a private lounge/office including a double sofa bed which makes this suitable for a family with children. Of the five double beds two will split into twins if needed and one bedroom includes a truckle sofa bed suitable for two children. (one of the beds can be moved to other bedrooms.)
Off the living area is the dining room leading to a balcony with views over the village and the mountains. On the bottom level is a sauna, Hammam with a shower and a guest toilet while outside is a Hot Tub. Parking for 4 cars is available on site and there is one electric charge point (at extra cost). On site staff accommodation is separate from the chalet under the parking deck.
Frequently Asked Questions
Below are a few of our frequently asked questions.
Where is Chalet Les Loups located?
How many people does the chalet accommodate?
10 in five double/twin bedrooms plus a double sofa bed in the lounge of the suite and a truckle bed for 2 children in one of the bedrooms making a maximum total of 12. (See “The Chalet” section above).
Where are the nearest ski runs?
Approximately 200 yards from the chalet. This piste takes you down to the Chaudanne where all the major lifts, the lift pass office and the ski school meeting places are located. For beginners there is a ski locker service at The Chaudanne which may be helpful. At the end of the day ski back to the same spot on ther Saulire side of the valley. If you have been skiing on the West side of the valley towards Val Thorens, Les Menuirs or St Martin de Belville then ski down to the Chaudanne and take the Saulire telecabine or the Rhodos lift to get above the chalet to then ski back.
Is there any parking at the chalet?
There is parking for 4 cars under a roof with open sides. There is one electrical charging point (at extra cost) small cars can be block parked to increase the number of possible spaces.
What are the catering options?
Delicious Mountain who manage the chalet offer a fully staffed inclusive dining service and details can be found on their website. Self-catering is not offered.
Are the bedrooms en suite?
Yes. All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms with a bath and WC’s. There is also a guest WC on the bottom level. The main suite has a walk in shower as well as a bath while two others have stand up showers above the bath and hand showers. The last two have only hand showers in the bath . Head-height is restricted in these two bathrooms where the baths are under the eaves. MIND YOUR HEAD on the beams.
Is the chalet suitable for children?
Yes. Most of the bedrooms are large enough for additional infants and the apartment makes a good family unit. Whilst the chalet is not “child proofed” it is equipped with one travel cot and two stair gates for the main living area. The circular staircase with open treads is however lethal for infants – hence the stair gate. The balconies are child proof save that any agile child could always climb over the top and the drops are extensive so parental control is necessary. The steep hillside is the price you pay for the views.
